National Forum of People's Organizations (NFPO) celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year in 2006 with ‘Surath Saviya' trade fair and exhibition for the benefit of the tsunami affected people in Tangalle area, Hambantota district where some communities affected by the tsunami presented their products manufactured under the SATHKARA livelihood program funded by ActionAid.
